## Product description

CMC 91832 is a self adhesive shielding tape based on tin clad soft copper foil. The adhesive layer is filled with electrically conductive particles for easy contacting of surfaces. Also available as a thinner tape.

| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Backing material | soft copper (Cu-ETP), doublesided tin clad |
| Colour | silver |
| Substrate thickness in mm | 0.050 ± 10% |
| Total thickness in mm | 0.080 ± 10% |

## Adhesive properties

| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Type of adhesive | acrylic, electrically conductive |
| Adhesive strength in N/cm according to internal method PV 1006-32 (180° peel from steel) | ≥2 |

## Thermal properties

| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Temperature performance (max.) in °C | 130 |
| Short term temperature performance in °C (ca. 1 hour) | 180 |
| Flammability based on IEC 60454-2 | flame retardant |

## Electrical properties

| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Ohmic resistance (testing area two times 1 cm² according to internal method PV 1006-14) | ≤1Ω |

## Mechanical properties

| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Tensile strength in N/cm | ca. 30 - 45 |
| Elongation at break in % | ca. 10 - 20 |

## Other properties

Electrical properties will generally stay intact up to 80°C, however, they depend on the application / type of assembly. Customer specific tests are strongly recommended.
